    700/750/1150 rear shock option

Been contemplating rear shock options for awhile for the 700es. It is about the only thing I have not refurbed or replaced on this thing. I know Hagon makes an aftermarket bolt up and I have seen Dan's fantastic build (Salty Monk) with the Ducati shock that fits. Assuming that the Ducati Monster shock fits, wouldn't it be safe to say that the same Ohlins or Penske for that model Ducati would also bolt up?

Joe it's tight at the top end only the bottom is fine. If the aftermarket has a lot of meat around the eye you might have to do a bit of clearance work on it.
I believe the ducati shock has slightly less travel too.
