Just buy shorter cables... Not sure what bike you have but for example if you have a 1000E buy the 1000S cables etc. Same works for the clutch.

Just go to a motorcycle repair shop, usually they have a Motion Pro fittings kit to make cable.
I have the same kit at home.Its easier to make a new custom cable than buying a bunch of cables that dont fit well.

Flanders are great for all things cable;
I needed a set shortened because of a different carb setup and the turnaround time was great (as was the price and service).

this is easy. cut it about an inch longer then you need it. then they sell a bolt at bike shops (mountain and road bikes) its got a hole in it and 2 washers and a nut. put the cable through the hole with a washer on each side and tighten it down. whala.

use a torch and solder to attach the peg end to the cable. file it smooth when cool so it will fit in the twist grip recess.SUZUKI , There is no substitute

Here is a pic of the kit I have for making cables. It's easy and works great.
This is a versatile kit for many kinds of cables.
Since I bought this kit, i have never had a problem finding cables that fit.
You get your money's worth, thats for sure. No more hassles with cables.
