Wrong way swap.. 8v 750 into 16v 1100 frame?

I will be getting a 83 GS1100E soon but it has no motor.. Otherwise it's complete including 2 sets of headlights, 2 tanks and 2 tail fairings.. woot!

Now I have 2 options..

Take the GS750 motor I have and stuff it in there until I can find a 1000 or 1100 for it or part the bike out..


I really diggin the idea of having a GS1100E so I really don't want to part it.

I guess I have a 3rd option.. Kill the current GS1000L project for it's engine.. Not so excited about that either..

Stupid swappy Option 4.. GS1000 mill onto the GS1100E and the 750 into the GS1000L.. hehe..

This was my 750 engine in an 1100 project. Both were 16 valve that made it easy, I do not know about the 8 valve. This worked great, plenty of power it will go over the speed limit I am told, and has great brakes.
