    GS450-Upgraded Exhaust?

Has anybody put aftermarket exhaust on a GS450? IF so, what kind? Thanks,
    DG

MAC makes one, and I have seen others on bikes but no idea if you can still get one.

In my experience the pipe is ok, but the can is crap.

Any pictures of this MAC exhaust? Are there any gains, does it sound better, etc. I'm not finding any relevant info.

Actually, it's only about $290. Not too bad. I think it's the shipping + fees that will kill you!

Got the bike running this past weekend, had to get a new battery. Started right up & sounds pretty good. Now I just need to get it to the apartment & out of my dads garage. Then I can decide what direction, if any, I want to go.

I'll be firing my '82 450t cafe racer project up in the next week or so. I purchased the Mac performance 2 into 1. I'll let you know how it sounds.

I fired my 450 up with the Mac 2 into 1. It sounds like a tin can, I really don't care for the sound too much. I really just wanted the header. Eventually, I might look for a different silencer.

I put a supertrapp on my MAC, about 250 jabillion times better in every conceivable way from the MAC can...

no idea how it compares to stock as I have never had stock...
