    GS1000 Mikuni Flatslide Carb?

What website contains model application information for Mikuni Flatslide Carbs. I am trying to determine whether Mikuni T33 D1 will fit a GS1100 2V cylinder head. Look familiar to anyone?

Edit: Found this Mikuni RS link but P/N T33 D1 is not listed. Cannot tell by the pic if it's a GSXR flatslide or RS Series Flatslide carbs?

These carb look like a bidding war.
He stated that the spacing is 77mm and gs 2v spacing is 77-93-77.
    Same as oilcooled gsxr.

      The middle spacing look narrow.
Maybe off an old 900-1000 ninja.

        Marc,
Let's not do that bidding war thing. So I understand did the GSXR's come with Mikuni flatslides stock and the RS Series Flatslide carbs are equivalent to Smoothbores?

i was just kidding, i already have RS.The first gen 750 gsxr came with 29mm flatslide stock in canada. And the bellcrank was in the front portion unlike a rs.Maybe a bored out 29mm or the first version of mikuni flat???

If you don't mind posting a picture someday that would help me at least, I am just coming up to speed on the topic of Flatslide carbs

Those look like early GSXR750 flatslides - they measure 33mm at the cylinder head side but the entry side is necked down to 29mm.
The race kit for the early 750 came with parallel bore 33's - I've bored a lot of those road sets to 33 for speedway TQ's
Here in NZ they were the standard carb for the G,H & I model 750's

Cheaper than RS flatslides but all the aftermarket jets will fit and I think there's alternative needles available - if the spacing works could be good.

What GS1000 carb boots do you need for the RS Flatslides or GSXR Flatslides? 1978-79 VM Style or 1980 CV style?

The smaller VM style will suit the GSXR Flatslides - From memory, RS's fit this style too
At least in the body size up to 36mm bore.

The RS36 fit flush with the inside of the boot on a big port head.
you cannot put the rs on the vm boots.

You can see on the pics that the CV boots fit nicely on the RS.
On the last photo you can see the difference between the stock VM carbs and the RS.

Great photos Marc! Thanks. How is the throttle response with the RS36 Flatslides on your GS1000/1100?

Hi, i not have tryed the carb yet, these are for my built engine.i have to sort out my underbuckets problem before i put the engine together.
From what i can tell the guy i bought this set said it was a great improvement over my vm33.I bought this set for less than the vm sold on ebay.
