    Stock sound without stock looks/performance?

    Stock sound without stock performance?

Who has tackled this problem? Any ideas? My 80’s era Yoshimura 4-1 looks great, sounds great but is just too loud. I don’t like the attention I get under full throttle. My ears can do without all the racket behind me. Anyone behind me would appreciate the change. My ego does not need a loud pipe. If my ¼ mile time dropped from 11:32 to 11:58 I would not care.

My only demand is half the noise with the same good looks. I’ve thought of using the existing pipe and just install another slip-on if you will.

(No matter what I wont sell the Yosh)

    Can you re-wrap the baffle?

I have followed TheCafeKid on his 1100ES with a Yosh pipe with no complaints. Yeah, it's a bit louder than all the Goldwings we were riding with, but I heard NO complaints from any of the Wingers over the weekend.
