    Which 34's for 1085

Going to a cycle salvage yard tomorrow. What 34mm carbs should I look for for my 1085 GS? Make, model?

Sorry I don't know. You could try a search while waiting. Hopefully one of those in the know will be able to tell you but with the small window left I'd try the search function. Good luck

34mm flatslides if it is pre-1980 and 34mm flats or cv's if 1980+. Pretty sure that's right.

I didn't get to go to the salvage yard--had to work on my Jeep instead. I have 36mm slingshots on it and love the upper end power but was thinking about some 34's to fool with to see what kind of bottom end I would get over the 36's. I think member Blackstar has a good set-up on his but I have had no luck contacting him.
