Struts, o' Struts, where art thou
I want a pair of struts to lower my '81 GS750. I searched old posts here, and several members say they have struts. "Where does he get such wonderful toys?" (Joker, Batman I) Any hint on where to find a pair? Do folks custom machine them?Tags: None

I was waiting for someone else to answer, because I'm not that familiar with the subject. However, my definition of a strut as it applies to a motorcycle is that it's a piece designed to replace the rear shocks. It effectively turns a bike into a hardtail. Usually used for dragracing, and nothing else. Improves RT and traction. Probably not hard to make, a bar with eyes at each end.

Get a kidney belt too if you plan to street ride like that, chuck holes can be very painful at speed
