airbox to pod cleanup

I am going to pods on my 77 gs 750 , with out the air box it looks real nasty in side , wires and such , any ideas how i can improve the look .I was thinking of closing of the area with black plastic ?

zip ties work really good for holding stuff out of the way

This should have gone in the appearance thread....But to be somewhat helpful, I would stick with the factory air box/filter. It has factory velocity stacks off the back of the carbs. Just remove the air box lid for a performance gain. Thats the way I roll......Billy

• Thanks for the help guys , i would like to keep the air box but it is missing the left side cover and the boots are crap , until i can find another one i have four pods from my extra parts i am going to try .will resetting the main needle height work to set them up with the carbs or will i need to rejet ?
