    oil cooler-oil light

I installed a kerker oil cooler now my oil light stays on.
I first installed it with the pressure switch it came with but the light wouldn't go out below 3500 rpm.
I then installed Napa op6115 switch as per oil cooler how to. The light still stays on but goes out at 3000 rpm now. I looked up the Napa switch specs and its not a .5 to 2 psi switch, but I can't find a switch that is any ideas?

What bike, and how did you plumb the cooler into it? They're not all the same, some require a special block, some require a change made to the filter cap, etc... More info is required to answer your question.

the block looks like the stock one. The oil cooler is a period cooler so all the necessary hardware was included in the box. The hoses come out the right side of the block go up to the thermostat below the gas tank to the cooler no kinks I installed as per instructions included with piece.

Sounds like you are getting leakage into the oil feed line for the cooler; unless the oil pickup gets 100% of the oil out of the line the pressure light will not go out.

Does the oil cooler adapter have an extension that goes down into the oil distribution cavity and picks up the oil straight out of the feed port? Assuming it does, does the extension seal tightly down on the feed port? Is there any kind of seal between the adapter and the oil port?

Some photos will help too so we can see what's going on. Need to see the underside of the adapter thingie so we can see that extension piece that fits down in the feed line.
