    She's in the low 7's

    Last Friday the old gal got down to 7.27 ET in the 1/8 mile, not to bad for a stock engine.

        Hahahaha....that's what the flourescent lights at work will do to your eyes, then your brain. I thought that was pretty damn fast, almost asked to post the time slip!

            I guess I could remove the 275hp Nitrous kit from my Falcon and run it on my bike. The engine should last for at least one run before total melt down, and I should have a low 7's in the 1/4 mile too

                Are you still running the stock crank? I know they were considered weak in the 82 model.

                  Yeah, I heard the same thing. I was concerned about my crank not being welded but after 180 runs and some high 12K rpm's it has'nt fail yet with over 26,000 miles on the motor . The funny thing is I'd heard alot more of the racing welded cranks letting go than the stockers. So I think it's a toss up. If it happens to me then I'll change to something ??
