I am going to be buying a 01 GS500E and am having trouble getting information on this bike. Is it the same as the 90s gs500e's? high 40HP? Anyone who has ridden one or has one can you fill me in on how they run? Thanks!

i did try and search first. One of those posts is mine actually. I read a lot on the 90s GS500E's but I was more focusing on the 2000 models because they changed and i read they did a few things different to them. And I am having a hard time finding out what made the 2001's and on different than the 90s other than a body remodel.
I am going to buy a 2001 GS500E Saturday and just wanted a little more information before I make my purchase. I was going to get a 95 or 97 but found this one for a little more today.Comment
