IMHO I would not bother for a 66cc gain.
I did my '77 GS750B out with the 850 wiseco kit, it was 100cc more and I do notice much more power and performance but the time and effort in doing this was just not something I would ever bother with again.
Just put your $$ into going for an engine transplant from something bigger
I have a friend who has transplanted an 1100 into his 650 Katana, along with upgraded front and rear suspension and brakes, now THAT is something that is SCAREY!
He keeps up with all the new bikes and has had the transplant working for 6 years now with no problems or mechanical breakages!!Regards,

What GSXR engine? I would guess something up to 91. I think that was the last year for the oil cooled 750's. What kind of work are we talking for a swap? I was thinking of just rebuilding my engine and like I said earlier, getting a set of kent cams.

You're talking about dropping $1,000 - $1,500 for the upgrades you've mentioned
It would be much cheaper just to buy an 1100 and sell your 750. Or transplant an engine
Not much difference between a 750n and 1100 in that vintage, size wise (about 20 lbs)1978 GS 1000 (since new)
