    gs650e extended swingarm

I am trying to find out if i can use a gs1000 or 1100 extended swingarm, or a different kid of swingarm. I am not sure if the pivot is the same width or if it is smaller being a 650 if anyone can shed any light on this it would be very helpful. I am planning on going like 5 or 6 inches for drag racing... and i know my bike is a 650 and i would be better off just going and buying a 1000 or 1100 but i want the 650. The bike is a 81 650ez

Can't help you with your swingarm question, but there is no way you can have an '81 650EZ.

The '81 model year has a letter of X at the end, the '82 model year has the Z.

You either have an '81 650EX or an '82 650EZ.

My advice: You don't need a extended swingarm for the 650. It'll only add weight and teach you bad habbits.

I've never heard of anyone drag racing a gs650. Got any go fast goodies on it?
