    Single shock on gs850

    Ok,

I am going to ask a really strange question.

Can you mount a single shock on the top of the swing arm under directly in front of the rear wheel like a mono shock?

    1. Is it possible?
    2. what would the challenges be?

I know it is strange, just thinking outloud.

    Thanks

No room & the swingarm is not meant to take that kind of force in that area.....

Get some better shocks.... Ohlin's & Works or Racetech are some of the better more expensive brands. $500 - $1000.

        Marzocchi sometimes come up online.

I would go with IKon's from Z1 for about $300 - seem to be about the best bang per buck.
