    gauge cluster compatibility

Would a set of GS 450 gauge, cluster, mount and center idiot light console, mount to my 650 without modification? They seem to have a dual bolt mounting just like the 650's. And it has the center mounted ignition cutout. This would be a good deal plus I think more room for the "Upgrades I plan on.

    Thanks in advance

Do you know if both model bikes share the same features? Things like a fuel gauge and gear indicator? Assuming the features are the same, the gauges should work although you may have to switch around some electrical plugs.

All the same idiot lights are there and theyre both 120 mph speedos (the part I need most since mine went down on the left side) Was just wondering if the mounting brackets were the same across models.

If you stay within models, the speedos will be interchangeable. L's seem to have a different angle than the G model speedos. I believe they will all fit. Again, echoing above, the wiring will need sorted out.
