    1100 head and cyl on 1000 block

    hello to all have a 79 gs 1000e also have a spare engine would like to know if a 1100 jug and 4 valve cylinder head would fit on the 1000 block . want to do a nice street engine with the spare also if it does fit what are some good cams to use . .

    No, stud spacing is not the same.The 1100e engine can be made to fit the 1000e frame.

      1000 1100 cylinders head

      have a 1000 i just did that to only difference in the heads is the intake port size difference in cylinders is bore size provided both are 8 valve

        i have a 1074 block and gk head on my 1000 but both are 2v. 4v is not the same.
