upping compression

i was reading anoher post and they said its easy to up the compression with the head off....i am just wondering what things could be done to do this?

i'm asking because i have the head and cylinder block off my bike right now

You can have a little milled off the bottom of the head. You just have to check that your valves dont get too close to your pistons whe you put it back together. Any performance machine shop or engine builder can do it.

Another conserne is what type of gas are you going to use??? Unless you want to use aditives / racing gas? Just leave it as it is It won't get you that much of an increase, If you do it? you will have to have your cam gears slotted to degree the cams as it will change the relationship between the cams and the crank
