    windshield for comfort

Anybody out there help me out?
I have a naked GS550MZ Katana from 1982. Bike is ok for what I want it to do , but long journeys along the freeway or expressway are a bit of a pain coz of the wind. Can anybody recommend a small windshield or fairing that fits this bike and makes longer journeys more bearable?
Hope someone can coz I reckon I've looked at just about every website I can find.
    Cheers people
PS Im in Australia so somewhere near here would be good

Your in good shape then because that's where almost all of our Kat owners are. But that's because you guys stole all of the Kat's when they were sold. I think the US got about 10% of them.

What do you guys think of the handlebar mounted windshields? Mine only mounts on two spots and when a truck goes by and I'm going 120 km/h it twists around and I have to stop to fix the thing.

          Dink,

I am in Adelaide metro area.

Was wondering about the wisdom of handlebar mounted myself - don't know if it make s the bars wobble in funny wind directions?

          Cheers

Colin how about joining up with eitherhttp://groups.msn.com/KATANAAUSTRALIA orhttp://groups.msn.com/KatanaOwnersGroupofSthAustralia

As to your Windshield/fairing issue how about a replica of a Ducati Monster fairing? or a more period piece like a Z1R replica? try www.maw.com.au or www.mcas.com.au
