jet kit question

I was wondering if any one knew if the stage 3 jet kit for a GS650E would work on the GS650G. Other than the chain drive, what is the difference that would not allow this to work? Any information is appreciated.

I don't know if there are any differences in the carbs or the jetting. Hopefully members here that own these models can look up their carb spec's for you. You need to compare main jet/needle jet-jet needle/pilot jet sizes as the most likely differences. I would think the carbs are the same size, but there could be different size jets/needles. The jet kits can be very specific, so if there are jetting differences, an E kit would not work well in a G carb. I would try to contact the maker of the jet kit with questions also. I assume you want to install a stage 3 kit because you're installing pod filters and a pipe?
