GS674R top end cam oiler?
Im curious to know if it would be beneficial to install a top end oiler on a 550/674 hybrid motor?

Didn't those engines already have built in oilers under the valve cover?? I've had one apart before though it's been a good while and swear they had oiled tubes running to the journals...

Well, I can't give your a definitive answer, but
The pictures are a 16 valve motor , which is a completely different design than your 8 valve motor. I don't think I've seen an 8 valve motor of any size with top end oiling and that includes dragbike and roadracing motors.
So, in conclusion, I think top valve oiling is a 16 valve issue, not 8 valve1978 GS 1000 (since new)

But, Ray, is my basic premise correct on the 8V/16V issue?1978 GS 1000 (since new)

Im working on the design right now, I think I will probably route braided lines up from the transverse oil gallery that runs along the base of the cylinders. dose anyone know where I can get an adapter to use in place of the drain bolt which is located above the points cover?
