4-1-2 exhaust?
so im kinda curies what you guys think about building a 4in to 1 in to 2 exhaust for a 78 750, has anyone done this? im interested in getting some power out of it while creating a unique look with this, what do u guys think?Tags: None

Could be an interesting experiment!
If you do try it, I suggest you reduce the diameter of the two tail pipes. You could also try running slightly different lengths too (say one side 1/2" -1" longer than the other) and then add a slash cut to them. Taper the slash angle slightly different too, for each side.
Besides having a different look, you should achieve a very strong and broad power band, with plenty of top end as well.
The main drawbacks are you won't save as much weight as a 4-1 system does, and oil changes will require you to drop the exhaust unless you can offset the collector away from the drain plug.:) The road to hell is paved with good intentions......................................

Do I read you right? You want two exhaust mufflers? I know some of the supermono guys go that way(funny seening it's a single piston 4 stroke), but when you have titanium/carbonfibre weight isn't that much of a consern. I thought 4-1 for racing and 4-2-1 for road was the way to go no matter what?
But if you are going for form over function that's the performance part out the window anyway, and then you can just go wild.
