Installing push/pull throttle, where does the starter button go?

I bought a push/pull throttle for my RS carbs. Now I am wondering where/what do I do for a starter button and kill switch?

Hmm, I've only seen drag racers use the push/pull throttle from Ape. On street bikes I've seen folks use VM throttle tubes with the matching kill switch/starter button.
I don't know how your are going to fit all that including the brake M/C on the handlebars.
    I'm sure if there's a will........

Yoshimura used to sell a throttle assembly with kill and starter switch along with a 3 position headlight switch. I have one on my bike but they are tough to find these days.

As long as they have VM carbs they have a P/P throttle.

Just checked the Alpha site for availability of new p/p assemblies for my '79 850.

The superseded number for the grip assy is listed as available at US$1422.68. The throttle grip is a steal at only $30.

Not sure if the listing is for an ali or plastic replacement unit. The '79 control switches were all ali.

The newer bikes all had push/pull but what I don't know is if they are for 7/8" handlebars.

I found a RH control assy off a Gixxer that is push/pull on ebay. Looks like it would work, just need some wiring. Newer stuff is more plentiful and in better shape and cheaper. For now I was thinking of just a momentary button for starter.
