Dyna S alternative - GM HEI on a former points ign. bike?

    I also wondered if the Dyna dying on her GS550 had to do with a charging system issue I just discovered - the bike only charges at 11.9 volts, should be 13.6-14.2. Time to upgrade to the ElectroSport Industries Regulator/Rectifier that regulates all 3 phases, and check to see if the stator is done for.

    I wondered if the low voltage could have stressed the ignition components?

      I had the same Dyna coils and S ignition on my bike for 20 years. Failed last year and they sent new stuff at half price... Good stuff and company in my book.

        Best company I have ever worked with. Everyone knows me by name, know most of us who have "retro-fitted" the Dyna-S in.

        Sent me everything I needed that didn't come in the kit that I bought from a supplier FOR FREE. (washers, nuts, etc.) No shipping.

        Even sent some extra decals I requested
