installing main studs

I had an oil leak from the right side, thought it was the seal, but started checking the bolts and one of the main bolts has stripped threads, so I bought an APE stud kit. Also helicoils to repair the threads. I bought them without knowing that you could buy longer ones, so I have 12mm helicoils and the stud threads are about 17mm. I now have 24 helicoils that are really too short to do the job properly
Also I read on an old post about putting red loctite on the main saddles to take up any excess clearance, I am going to try that because my bearings and saddles have marks on them from moving around.
Since I have the heli coils, should I do all of the stud threads? Would that allow me to torque the studs more?

I wouldn't do any studs that don't need repair. We have a few very knowledgeable people on the 1100/1150 some one will chime in
