managed to source a OEM connector plug from Eastern Beaver. cheap enough but their shipping costs are a bit radical.
any one have any dealings with this company?

Steve has bought quite a few things from them. Their shipping is only astronomical if you don't have the minimum order which is $20

yeah i know but why does he have to do it that way, why not just say orders under $20 wont be processed?

got the toggle switch fitted today, as i dont have turn signals and "TURN" is close to steering, as in steering damper, it looks ok.
you cant see it on the pic but there is a tiny LED on the left of the switch which illuminates when the damper is activated.

How do you get it through MOT without indicators?

I wonder if you could use the Honda Solenoid on your damper to give you variable settings... They look identical. Probably not though.

because of its age, indicators are not required. if they are fitted they have to work but if they are not fitted then it doesn't come into the MOT

its the same with lights, h/light and tail light, if they are fitted they have to work but you dont need them. you do need a brake light though.

                                1. leave it as it is.

                                2. polish it up.
