Tires?
Does anyone have suggestions for good tires for a 1978 GS750E I'm bringing back to life? Price is not that important since sets will be within $50-75 of each other. I've ridden aftermarket Avons, Metzelers, and Contis. Metzelers 880s ride hard in my experience but the Lazertecs were quite nice. I'm open to anything but would prefer something fatter in appearance than OEM. I used to ride Conti K181s but that was 30 years ago Mileage nowadays is about the same regardless so I like good grip and a nice ride. Thanks.Tags: None

Another tire thread? Sorry to bust your chops but this topic gets rehashed here more often than oil threads.
Avon Roadriders and Shinko 230's are two of the forum favorites.
100 front, 120 rear. Those are max size for the 750 wheels.Ed
To measure is to know.
