    Suggest me some cams

When it comes to picking cams I am lost. The bike is going to be strip/street so here are the details of the engine:

    1395cc 11:1
    Ported 1150 head
    Oversize valves on stock seats.
    Hard welded gsxr rockers
    HD springs

I am looking at something in the .370 to .380 range.

Web 212 grinds. .370 lift & 256@ .050 duration. Not too much lift so it will be easy on valve springs but still make good power. Make sure you use a top end oiler & 750 oil pump gears! Ray.

I run the .410/.380 CamMotion cams, 29.5/25 Ported head, with a 1198cc flat top pistons, 40mm RS Mukunis in my 85 GS1150 stock 61'' wheel base. Street/strip bike. I would just put a slider in and lower it when I drag raced it. It run good.
I like big cams and I can't deny them little cams just don't fly.

Remember if you have hardweld rockers you need hard weld cams. You don't need the same size exhaust cam as intake exhaust cam should be at least .020 smaller than your intake cam this will help keep the low end power. Unless your running a big shot of NO2.

On my 1150 I used the stock rockers and stock oil pump gears with no topend oiler been in the bike 10 years with no damage. The key to longevity is proper seat pressure 45lbs is all you need
