    Moto Gp works

Hello, I searched & didn't find anything. If I missed, please point me in the right direction.

Does anyone have any experience with the ebay vendor "motogpworks"?
looking at their header for the Katana. Also, the carb heat shield looks neat.
    thank you for your replies

Lewis, I purchased a pipe from ebay seller motogpwerks. It is a RIPPIN' pipe, but I had some fitment issues. Red was gracious enough to offer me a refund, but I opted to re-fit the pipe and have been very happy with the pipe. Paul

Paul, thank you. What bike did you purchase the pipe for? What kinda fitment issues? Like heating & bending? Any pictures.
      thank you again

        Lewis,
the pipe was advertised for a 1100 Katana and I have a regular GS1100. In order to make the pipe fit the way I wanted, I removed 4" from the middle of the "S" bend, and rotated it up slightly.
        Here you go, after fitting-

The pipe on this gs1100 below is a katana race pipe only ,after the copy I made off my yoshimura factory race bike ,i only made four off them so it isn't the same pipe listed in ebay as that always fits katanas to a tee

              Thank you

Slayer, thank you for the picture. That is an awesome bike you have. Love everything about it.

Motogp, what are the differences between the race pipe & the current pipe? & thank you for your reply & making parts for our bikes!

(Except between the 2 of you my wallet is gonna get lighter!)

Thanks all for the compliments! The bike has been a labor of love for many years. translation- it has been sucking my wallet dry for a long time!

The difference is in the size of the head pipe and the bend. The race pipe uses larger tubes and goes directly under the motor, meaning the pipe has to be dropped for every oil change. The street version misses the drain plug. Perhaps motogpwerks will clarify if I have led you astray in any way. Paul
