1983 1100 es / 1984 1100 gk engine parts swap

WILL IT WORK?? Installing 83 GS 1100 ES pistons, cylinder,and 16 v head on an 84 GK engine.
If it will work, this combo should make some serious hp gains for my GK,
all out of parts I already have,

I don't think it will work.

You would have to compare the bolt spacing, cylinder spacing and oil feeds, not to mention stroke on the crank and deck height of the pistons.

Someone like RapidRay might have a more-definitive position on that.

PM answered. No, the 16 valve & 8 valve top ends are not interchangeable. At least not without a LOT of work. Ray.
