    Emgo shocks

I was told that these are made by Emgo.

Has anyone ever used this brand? Are they good for a gs1000E? I still have the 34 year old original shocks on her.

They are Emgo I would NOT buy them !! Sprung very hard, crappy bushings so unless you weigh 300 lbs

Not sure if they are really sprung all that hard, but the damping is definitely a LOT more than it should be. I am nowhere near 300 pounds, and can get my son's 1000G to move (slowly) under my weight, but while riding, it feels like solid suspension. Two-up, they mellow out considerably. They feel like the damping is set up 3- or 4-up riding.
