I have a 1980 GS850. If I'm traveling down the highway at 70 I'm turning a lot of rpm. Like 5750 is there anything I can do. It's shaft drive. Different gear in rear end anything like that thanksTags: None

Yeah, that's pretty close, don't worry about it.
My wife shot this over my shoulder on my 850 a couple of summers ago:
By the way, your speedo will be most accurate if you use a 100/90-19 tire.
At an indicated 70 mph, my GPS will show 68 or 69.
