    GS850 front tube mod

Does anyone know of a good write up on shortening the front forks??? I feel I've seen one on here and can't find it.

I'm mainly looking for something with a parts description before I open these up.

    Cheers!

Go to your local dealership or some place like Boulevard Suzuki (www.boulevardsuzuki.com) and look up the parts fiche for your bike. I'd help but I don't know what year you are referring to (hint hint put your bike info in your signature block hint hint)

Got this off OSS a while back:

      Current:
Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )

      Past:
      VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....

Very true, but they do have a nice interface and a reverse-search, "what else does this part fit?" feature.
