    Throttle cable routing

Hello everyone. New to the site. I decided to change out the stock bars for clubman bars and now the throttle sticks when turning the bars left and right. I'm not sure if I should take the cable up and around the headlight, or just get a new cable. Oh, and what about the clutch and brake cables? Any suggestions will help, thanks!

So you just need it a little shorter. How about going around the steering head and down the left side of the frame to the carburetors?

Yea I'll try that too. I just didn't want to get a universal cable if I can make the stock one work. I'm still in the middle of cleaning the carbs and a whole tune up. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!

You might find a cable just a bit shorter, maybe one from a GS550 or GS450 might work, maybe the 650 Katana. I'm not sure how you'd find the lengths of the inner and outer cables, and make sure the fittings are the same.

I think we should have a thread with a cable length database, it could be very useful.
