    Oil pressure gauge on GS425e?

    Hello,

I was interested in trying to install an oil pressure gauge on my 1979 GS425e and was wondering if there is a suitable location to mount it to. I have read older threads of mounting an oil pressure gauge on the larger 4 cylinder motors on the right side of the engine, but on the two cylinder motor, this location does not exist.

Here is a picture of the left side of the engine on my bike and was curious if the indicated location would work?

    Best regards,
    Aaron

Check in the service manual for where Suzuki recommends to check the pressure from. If that's the point, then yes.

On my 450, the place to check the pressure from is on the right side just under the ignition cover, and that would be a very awkward location to install some sort of pressure gauge and would require some piping up to somewhere more appropriate.

Thanks, Pete. I will check out the Clymer manual this week.
