    I believe my "T's" measurements were:

    117 mm from center to center of forks
    58 mm diameter from thickest portion where dust boots cover forks

    Mine shares the same forks with an 1100, I believe.

    I'd call them...or give me your bike's measurements and I'll find out for you.

      You can pay through the nose for an aftermarket brace, or look for a GSX1100EZ fender with a big hefty brace built-in. A substantial bit of bent steel, you won't need a brace on top of that.
      I've seen a couple offered by breakers here, and the price is around the £35 / $50 mark.

          I know the advantage to the brace but for my stock 1100G does the stock front fender serve the same/similar purpose even if it shortened? I've never like the look of the large front fender and planned to shorten a spare that I have just to change up the look over the winter. My guess is that it should still serve the same purpose since I have no play in the front end while doing what was outline in the second reply to this thread.

              Now, looking at some of these over-priced, badly done, fenderless, and unsafe owner-modified abortions, I just shake my head in depressed wonder.
              I couldn't agree more. Some creations are excellent, but others are just about chopping up a perfectly good motorcycle for a posseur to 'be seen' on down at the local hang-out. Same kind of thinking with hotrods made out of vintage cars. It ain't my thing, but if it brings someone joy then I suppose that's fair enough.

              Re. fork braces, I'm not convinced they do that much on our machines. But they certainly look the biz... err, does that make me a posseur?!!!

              You can still pick up Micron items on eBay, etc. but they are a fair bit rarer now than they were 5 years ago. You will prob. end up paying about US$150. You can get a Tarozzi item brand new for much less anyway.

                Based on my experience a fork brace works and is a worthwhile investment. I can recall installing the Telefix on my 1000ST. Immediately after I completed the installation and adjustment I went out for a quick ride. The steering was noticeably quicker. The left to right transition was much better and overall responsiveness was outstanding compared to before the brace.

                I also believe that a good fork brace ties the sliders together into one unit. The side loads are reduced during suspension cycling.

                From a purely seat of the pants assessment, the damned thing works and works quite well, thank you. I plan on installing one on my recently acquired 1000EN.

                  They are not just for cornering they are required on any bike going over 125 mph in the 1/4 mile at most drag strips as is a steering dampener
