Installed my rev limiter today according to instruction; white to coil 1, blue to coil 2, black grounded on valve cover, red to coil 1 power but no work. If I move my power to the batt. it only seems to work on the low setting. The brown manual cut out works fine when its triggered. Should I be riding this thing under load to see what my settings are or is on the centre stant ok? Or is it malfunctioning? HELP...AAARRRGGGHHH :x

Anybody have one? This one is really bugging me, its brand new for crying out loud and the setup was done according to the instructions... or do I need to cut the orange wire? Instructions say thats for uneven firing angles so I didn't think it applies. Maybe I'll look at the 1100; it has one under the tank. :? :? -
Is it a 2 step, and what do you mean by uneven firing. 1-4 fire at the same time and 2-3 fire at the same time. So our bikes act like a 2 cylinder.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

get your ground off the valve cover and ground to a clean area on the frame for starters. If it dont work call Scott Valentine at Dyna..He will help you, hell or high water.
Ps it isnt good to free rev your motor to bounce it off the high side on your rev limiterEULC ONComment

Well, finally got to call Dynatek and apparently the problem is not with my setup or with the unit. I was told that most likely it is the limited spark energy from the factory ignition is not giving the box enough current to trigger the unit. So I'm getting an invertor mailed up for no charge to boost the signal. I was told its a commom problem with Suzuki and Kawasaki when the factory ignitions get old, so whew. Next winter is a Dyna S unit I guess
