    Idle again... :-(

    -82 GS1100E

    Webcam G2 ( 110-110 setting)
    4-1 Exhaust
    10.5 - 1 comp.
    Origin carbs with 145 main.

Works OK, except for the idle ( below 2K ) where it runs unstable and stalls out around 1200.
Have tried to adjust the pilot at 2 -3 and 4 turns out, with no effect.
When revving rapidly up, it pop on the way down. ( Lean ?).

My question is: When it stalls at idle I tought it was rich, but when it pop when revving down it should be lean.... :-(

Anyone have some hints ? :-)

Your idle circuits aren't suppling enough mixture (dies @1200 rpm) ; on way down, same problem-throttle plates are closed and mixture from idle circuits is too lean so it pops.

Thanks Tom203, I think I will try with a larger Pilot Jet.

If winding the mixture screw in and out makes no difference it could just be a blocked pilot jet or two.

          Pictures please, Norway.

I love that my bike is called a GSX over there. Now if we could just add an "R".
