      no reason to apologize sam...
      i questioned it when you bought the bike.
      in 25 plus years i have dealt with more lies or what i may call misrepresentations than i have the truth.
      i'll take a look at your thread now.

        Yeah you were right to question it. I probably should have too. Oh well. Still a nice bike with some good parts for a cheap price

          exactly!
          nice semi-pro head and the 1166 flat tops with the right cams and carbs can still make 140 ish HP there abouts.
          check the cams sprocket flange or the cam ends for markings and see what cams you have then you will know the total package and which way to tune it.

            OK. Looks like I'll be doing this kit with a mildly ported head, stock, degreed cams, RS36 carbs with K&N pods and the race Yosh I have on the bike. I'll upgrade the clutch and add a GSXR oil cooler. For now, this should make the bike a surprise on the street.
