77 GS750 Drag Bike Jr.........
Well guys I'm still waiting for one more o-ring to show up and I can put my 1100 back together, so in the meantime I've going to put my parts bike a 750 back together from the leftover parts from my 1100. Got the oem swingarm and wheel from the 1100 on and going to slap on my old 34 cv carbs. sence it has a kick starter all the electric stuff is coming off and the only electrical parts are going to be battery, points, coils and switch. Going with a 13 t upfront and a 41 rear

The swingarm and rim 17x2.50 are stock oem off a 82 GS1100E. The tire is 150/70x17 Michelin radial and it's only used for drag racing sence it's mounted on the stock rim.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

Hey Jake! Let me know how it runs! I am having a blast on mine. I finally won last night. I have made it to the final round in the last 4 races only to loose, but last night everything went my way. Even though I missed another 2nd gear shift, the lady on the progas GS spun at the start and never caught me.
I am running so consistant too: 1.700 60 foot times, .600 reaction times (on a .400 tree) and 7.85 et's all day long.
Remember, this bike is not pretty, the engine is stock (with over 64,000 miles on it). The slick and wheelie bars may be starting to take its toll on the clutch though.
Ride safe!

Good Job on being Top Dog at the track. I bet the other high buck racer's are paying more attention to you!!.
Are you running the stock clutch, cause I removed my cover on the 750 and it has a metal ring around the edge of the basket. Looks like a really weak designed.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

I have never had the cover off, but did get some new clutch plates with the extra disc and heavy duty springs for when it does come time to change out.
BTW, I did get a new clutch lever on ebay and it made a big difference because the pivot hole on the old one was egg shaped and made for a not so crisp clutch action.
