Can't find any info on rebuilding my Mikuni RS 36's

I've just spent an hour trying to find rebuild instructions for my newly acquired radial slide carbs for my GS1100. I'm looking for disassembly info as I just want to run them through my ultrasonic cleaner before installationmikuni flatslide exploded view.jpg.

Just remove what comes off easily. DO NOT take off what seems to be the detatchable front piece...They actually have less places for crud to accumulate than the old roundslides in my experience. Spent two roadrace seasons cleaning RS's after every meeting as we were using methanol - and the RS bodies corrode worse than the earlier ones when using Meth. I've also cut sets of 4 into twins etc and the throttle gantry setup is pretty simple too. The roller bearings are a readily available std size. The wooly dust seals, don't know, never found a source for them.

dully noted. Mostly, I just need to know how to separate them from the throttle shaft.

          float height is 17mm

17.5 pilot and 130 main is the starting point for 1100

all the specs are in K&L book and the sudco book and on the mikuni website you do not separate the rack to put them in the ultrasonic cleaner!! and if the cleaner is too small to fit the whole rack get a bigger one - the damage / hassle from separating a rack of carbs is not worth the cleaning you receive. I did separate racks when I was less experienced and desperate to save lost causes. NOW I am of the opinion you do not split the racks , and only if the fuel o-ring leaks on a metal delivery tube and then you only loosen them enough to replace the sealing o rings .

cleaning a set of RS are easier than the combined body multi cable down draft/sidedraft combo units of the modern metric vtwins -

float towers broken? you avoid that by using a spring center punch like an expert. they wear out quickly so every good carb guy has 3 or 4 and a new one still in the package

I have access to a 50 gallon ultrasonic cleaner - whole rack goes in - do not un-stake throttle plates / choke plates . someone will be sorry. - if any one reading this has a bike that this has been done ?? -- recheck the staked bolts - every so often. seriously. - the frequency of the vibration motorcycles make can and DO un stake the screws.
