do you guys know if a 99-04 busa front end would work on an 82 1100? i also heard that i can fit a canister from one onto an exhaust with some mods, how does that one seem to go?

I think the forks will be to short. The can will depend on the pipe diameter. -
Check ebay for the cans, stock cans go for reasonable prices. I think they have a 3 bolt flange that connects the can to the midpipe. Not sure how easy it would be to fab a flange for your current pipe. I want to run dual cans under the tail on my 750 and 'Busa & TL1000 cans were what I was looking at. I have a 4-1 so I would have to fab pipes from the collector to the can. If you have stock exhaust I don't think it would look right, my can has road rash and I want a different sound than other I-4's.Comment
