Just just put in a new speedo and tach from dimecitycycles.com. Those guys are awsome and have lots of good stuff. The stock cluster had a bad speedo and tach. Tried cleaning the gauges, lining cables and all. Hooked them right up to the existing cables, a little wire work....and presto. An accurate (GPS verified) speedo and tach. Now just need some suggestions on covering up the empty space. Perhaps a headlight fairing?

Also, I have LED turn signals installed. So I had to install a diode kit to have the one indicator light show both signals, which was really easy. I also relocated the shift indicator to the bolt on the bars. Works really well.

Have you tried rotating the gauges towards each other to close the gap then just spinning them in their mounting brackets to keep them aligned I guess you'd call it?
