Hose running from top of engine to air box
On my gs750t I'm taking out the air box and installing the air filter cones. There is a hose running from top of engine to the air box which I now took out. What is this hose doing and what do I do now that I don't have the air box to plug it back into? My first time in these forums hope to find some help 😄 thanks. -
Beyond needing to rejet the carburetors for the pods and going through the hassles for that, most people will make up some sort of catch can for it. Do a search for it as there were some folks who did it.

That's the crank case breather hose. There are filters that you can buy to plug into it but you have to change them periodically. I believe some people run the hose into a discreetly hidden container. Would also have to be cleaned periodically. Or you can leave it off entirely and clean the top of your engine... periodically.

Take heed of the need to rejet the carbs. Best purchase a Dynojet kit or similar or get ready to pull your hair out.Ed

J&P Cycles has the push in style filters. just cut the hose short and stick a breather filter on and rest it on top of the engine above the carbs.
