yeah wonderd about that, if I bought 44 s perhaps then bore them out. I am thinking (besided expensive) 48 s may be bit too large, if 44 s open up also 2.5 46.5 s may be just right for a 1500 plus engine Thanx Ray Mike

I run 40's on my 1500, i should put 44's but i don't want to but any was i have a whole new top end waiting in the wings and will prob retire teh 1500 befor long. If i were to bore the 40's what's involved with that process? or is it as simple as it sounds?

Phil most bang for the Buck, bore them out like to 42 mm .! , i think epoxy may be required where it breaks through AND pour the Nitrous to it. Keep eye on the crank runout, Indicate the ends occasionally for T.I.R. But I bet roger did your crank properly. We have trouble getting good work here. Are you going to run a 200 or 250 shot? That ought to get er in the low 7s maybe hi 6? But...may blow the f.... up in a spectacular fashion, Kevlar underpants perhaps!!!Ha HA But it will run strong as it has in the past with even more oomph. I think you could benefit from 46 mms maybe smaller 44 s ,44 s seem cheaper buy them and bore to 45 or 45.5 range then pour the NOS to uit, Take care buddy I been making some crazy stuff in the machine shop, Still working also ha ha No more neutrino dar matter research though!! Now tool room machinist fixture jig and stuff machinist , Lots of fun, Take care when you coming for a visit? Mike
