Jay thank you for chiming in, i prefer Moldstar 90 material. I used to use beryllium copper back in the eighties, (I'm not sure i think I was only guy to use it back then?? never heard anyone else using it back in the days) used it as rod small end bush material and seats, We had a lot of it at the aircraft machine shop. The old German Engineer used to come over and watch me screw around after work making crap, Then he took a slight interest, after that id ask him questions regarding gear materials heat treating carburizing and so on , he was a smart old fellow. Currently have two brand new big valve heads but am working on the new Huge valve Head, had to make all new fixtures for my Machines, Anyhow keeps me of the streets at night I guess!! Also Beryllium is a toxic material when ground as well as tool steels, Use a mask!!! The mold stars not toxic!! You guys rock!! Thanks Jay I want titanium valves and want blanks I can machine to what I want, I don't want the hollow valve face either, ! Who would you buy from? JAY can DLC be applied onto titanium valve stems?? Ever put it on rocker pads and cam lobes? Thanks Mike
