This is for the long term, not immediately. I plan to buy a second head and get it flowed and then do new rings and bearings in time.

I always run Modified rockers ray. I really liked the cam motion cams they used to carry. Ive never had web cams but had heard some people have had issues with the heat Treat in them. Hoping they have finally gotten it all figured out. Thanx Mike

No issues in the last 15 years Mike. I had some bad sets from them in the early 90s when I had my shop in Hawaii but none since then. I got Web to copy & digitize all the Cam Motion cams I had so I can still get most grinds they had.

I run a set of Webs Grind #168 .348 lift Int. and Exh. .282 duration .257 duration at @.050 Mild cams in a hobby bike I have been building. The wider duration was mainly for the loping sound they produced with the lack of low end power I know now. But mid range and top end pulls hard. It says to use hard welded rockers with them which I do not have. I have APE H.D. springs not the PRO ones in a Star racing street ported head. I don't have a top end oiler at this time Just a GS1150 oil cooler and high volume oil pump gears. So far when adjusting the valves I have not seen any noticeable wear on the cams or rockers. Is my insert into this post along with a couple questions. I have been thinking about installing a 7" slick and a wheelie bar and trying it at the track a few time to just see what it will do. Would any of you recommend the hard welded rockers and a top end oiler since I will be running the motor a lot harder.

Thanks for the input I really did not want to drop the bucks if not really needed. Maybe with bigger cams, and stiffer springs might go with the welded and extended rocker pads and a top end oiler. Big IF.

Hard welds are more durable than new billets. Use our VS1100S springs if you want around 45lbs seat, and VS1100S-PRO if you want around 60.
