'82 1100E frame mods
Are there any modifications that can be made to the frame of my '82 1100E to increase strength for improved handling? I've gone through all of the other chassis components and replaced them with new parts (Shocks, forks, tires, etc) and the bike still has a little wiggle in high speed turns that I'd like to get rid of. I don't want to get into anything that would cause trouble for the fitting of my tank, side covers or seat.Tags: None

Hey RJ, there is a great article on frame bracing an old GS (well, it's a katana in the article, but it applies...) at www.oldschoolsuzuki.info
Check it out.

I don't see the article about carbon fiber anywhere other than the pan he made to hold the n2o tank.
Carbon is easy to work with ;-)You'd have to be crazy to be sane in this world -Nero
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back....... You probably highsided.

Nero, check out the pics of his gixxer 7-11 (750 frame with 1100 engine) That's got all the pimp CF panels.
Personally I like the windowed clutch cover on his bikes... 8)
