Sadly, that happens here. A couple of weeks ago, MBanks and I made a deal on a project bike. Two days before I was to pick it up, he sent an email saying that he got a better offer and sold it. I have seen one on only7bikes' GS1000, weld quality was very good. They do turn yellowish with use. There is some dispute on the country of manufacture, the price indicates Asia but as I said the welds are beautiful. Not too loud with both baffles in.sigpic

i have had one on my 78 skunk for about a year. it's still rock solid although it's not as clean and pretty as it was (i'm not really particular about cleanliness).

Yes, it does tend to change to a gold-ish or amber color. It does look well made, though.
