They are light and a guy near Cincinnati sold one out from under me.

Sadly, that happens here. A couple of weeks ago, MBanks and I made a deal on a project bike. Two days before I was to pick it up, he sent an email saying that he got a better offer and sold it. That is AFTER we made a deal.

      Sad...

On topic, I have heard nothing but good things about Delkevic headers, but have no personal experience with them.

Off subject as fast as that.
They have stainless steel systems for a lot of old bikes.

I have seen one on only7bikes' GS1000, weld quality was very good. They do turn yellowish with use. There is some dispute on the country of manufacture, the price indicates Asia but as I said the welds are beautiful. Not too loud with both baffles in.

Asians can weld. Some of them anyway.

My son put one on his Honda VFR. The fit was great and he very happy with it.

i have had one on my 78 skunk for about a year. it's still rock solid although it's not as clean and pretty as it was (i'm not really particular about cleanliness).

here's a short viddy with sound:

I like stainless steel more than chrome, and the amber discoloration is mo-betta.

I'm running one on my 1000. I run it as a straight pipe, it's quite loud.

                      Shameless plug (lots of pics):

I am looking at Delkevic systems for her 750L as well as my CBR900RR. All the reviews I have seen have been stellar.

I have Delkevic GSF 1200 headers on my GS 1150. Quality is good and they are light & performing well.

I cleaned up a stainless system on my ZRX with Scotchbrite. Looks sweet.

Yes, it does tend to change to a gold-ish or amber color. It does look well made, though.
