Total disaster here jake. My bike is in the shop for 3 days and it doesnt look like i will get it back till mid next week. I am getting it ready for the texas run in otober.
Just as an added note It hardly rained at all and the wind was barely enough to move the leaves.
The folks south of tamp got it. Usually, the place where i live never gets more than a breeze and some extra rain from hurricanes.

Thanks for asking. Earle must have been at least somewhat inconvenienced by the storm though

There is almost never anything wrong with any of my bikes.

I was fooling with valve adjustment and found the timing chain stretched beyond the max. My mechanic will do it by grinding out the old pin and breaking the new chain and installing((pressing in)) a new master link. BUTBUT I saw some slight singns of wear on one cam lobe so i will have a set of mild megacycles dropped in while he is at it.

Looks like i will be out of thre loo
(( I meant to type loop but i left loo because thats where i seem to be now)) for a while. The head is scored in the cam castles and 6 of the rockers are bad also. Im workimg on having a new head built. maybe ill just buy the crummy sportster and bloop around for a while, i dont know what to do. im going to talk to the speed shop today and see how i can do. The shop wrench told me usually 2 months to have a head built.
